The Barra King

Sam Birch, Birchys Fishing Tours

Birchy began Birchys Fishing Tours so that he could give everyone the opportunity to experience the life he loves. His tours include remote camping and 4wdriving, hunting, camp cooking, and of course plenty of fishing!

And why is Birchy dubbed The Barra King?! Because when you go our fishing with Birchy, it’s guaranteed he is going to land the big barra!

Birchy has plenty of stories to share – from the time he escaped a croc attack to the time he caught a world record length barra, plus he will have all the information you need to plan your next Kimberley adventure. If you want to learn how to land the big barramundi, get some tips from the Barra King!

The Snake Whisperer

Paul Kenyon

How many times can you be bitten by a venomous snake and live to tell the tale?

For Paul Kenyon, better known as The Snake Whisperer, that answer is five. He thinks…it could be more; he doesn’t really remember!

Paul is more than happy to tell stories of being bitten by snakes, but most importantly, how he has treated snake bites properly in order to survive. His tips and training are invaluable for anyone who travels in the Aussie outback, and his stories are aimed not at creating a fear of snakes but more so to teach people to respect them.

Paul and his team will be at this year’s Perth 4WD and Adventure Show for the first time and will be set up with a display that includes several venomous and non-venomous snakes. Plus a crocodile – if he can get it to Perth in time!
