The role of the Royal Corps of Transport is to control and operate Army owned surface transport. And in 2017, visitors to the Perth 4WD and Adventure Show can experience Army vehicles firsthand thanks to the Australian Army’s Transport Squadron.
The Australian Army’s fleet of military trucks includes the terrain taming Mercedes-Benz Unimog, tough as nails Mack and versatile medium sized trucks from Isuzu and Hino.
This diverse range of vehicles has been specifically developed for military use in some of the toughest conditions known to man.
In addition, the historic Land Rover has been a mainstay of the Australian Army since 1958. These are tough-as-nails, go-anywhere, do-anything kit.
Come see a range of current army vehicles including G-Wagon, Unimog, 110 LandRover, Mack 6×6 – plus weapons and equipment at the 2017 Perth 4WD and Adventure Show.
Plus you can talk to current reserve soldiers and officers about their part time career and see how you can also get involved.
And of course Saturday 11th November is Remembrance Day, and as always the 4WD and Adventure Show will feature a commemoration at 11am at the Engel Bush Camp Stage thanks to Victoria Park RSL Sub-Branch; and representatives will be at the Show collecting donations for poppies.
