ARB Live Build
Posted on October 30, 2018 | Author Perth 4WD | Category

Have you ever been reluctant to hand over the keys to your favourite toy in case the fitters don’t treat your pride and joy with the appropriate respect? Or wondered could I fit that myself – how hard can it be?
This year’s Show is the ideal place to find out just what goes on behind the workshop roller door of a professional aftermarket 4WDrive specialist. ARB will showcase the transformation of a stock standard off the showroom floor 79 Series Toyota Landcruiser dual cab into an ‘I just want to head bush right now’ tough as nails tourer.
ARB have over forty years’ experience in designing, developing and building accessories that enhance the off-road adventures of avid 4×4 drivers in Australia and over 100 countries across the globe. The ARB design and engineering team are constantly working to develop new products or source best of class innovation from around the world. Their modern, state-of-the-art fabrication equipment and machinery are capable of efficiently producing exceptional quality 4WD accessories.
In five two-hour sessions over the three days of the Show, a team of ARB’s professional installation technicians and mechanics will complete the fitment of a fantasy wish list of top-quality gear proudly designed and manufacture by ARB or one of their product partners.
Matt Edgar, ARB WA’s Marketing Manager and Project Manager for this exclusive display says “The live build is a unique idea that we’ve developed so we can showcase our products, the professional workmanship and the stages that go into transforming these vehicles. Something that the public rarely get to see.”
You won’t be able to get right up close and personal for safety reasons; and due to time limitations extensive pre-work will have been completed for fitment of things like wiring harnesses before the Show. But you’ll be able to see key stages of installation and ask questions of the experts on hand and even the fitters – once they’ve finished their hard work!
Saturday morning will be a definite highlight with the fitment of an ARB air locker and a superb BP-51 suspension kit. It’s the perfect opportunity to debate the merits of air locker v. e-locker and learn just how much R&D and testing is required to improve both on and off-road handling of your 4×4.
As most folk won’t be able to attend every session; each one will be live streamed to social media with a full expert commentary on just what it takes to precision fit each accessory, along with plenty of information about the features and benefits of the product so you can decide what to add to your personal shopping list.
